THEY ARE STEALING 60% OF OUR NET INCOME AND THEN PRETEND WE HAVE A FISCAL CLIFF

If you analyzed my home budget and found that I was wasting almost 60% of my take home pay on something that I didn't even need and that benefited a bunch of rich guys who I didn't know or care about, I would listen up. We spend so much unnecessarily on defense that it is puking shocking. ONE nuclear submarine carries the ordnance sufficient to destroy the world. We can turn any country into a desert or swimming hole at the push of a button. We spend 42 % of our money directly of "defense" -- more than like ANYONE twenty times over. Then, we hide even MORE spent on HOMELAND Security (not part of that 42%), doing stuff like hand-delivering ominous sounding Coast Guard pamphlets to freshwater lakes in NC, -- the people that do this are total thieves, malfeasants and incompetents, on all sides of the isle. We could recover tons of money by reasonably spending on reasonable defense. Yes-- there are defense contractors in every hole in the US and the US "Defense" program is really welfare for the rich guys. Equally unfortunate, it is jobs. But we could start a re-tool and build stuff like roads, bridges, people-trains, rail, schools, -- to know that something is so stupid and so wrong and strips of of almost 60% of every dollar for waste, inefficiency and unneeded bullshit stuff.
