I certainly do not claim to have any special ability in writing persuasive letters. However, I felt it was time to send house Speaker Boehner my feelings about his performance. Should you wish to pirate this letter or send something similar, I am sure there would be some small effect.
I sent essentially the same letter to other representatives and senators
Dear Congressman Boehner:
Your personal actions, lack of fortitude to stand up to the crazies in the GOP and your own foolish rhetoric have served to stymie the operation of the government of this country for years. Your actions have been partisan and illegitimate. You have misused your office for the purpose of political expedience. You are one of the personally responsible elected officials that is tearing the fabric of our country, locking us into a ‘do-nothing’ posture, and allowing infrastructure to crumble and financial policy to languish.
The malfeasance you commit is of the highest order, for you are not voting your conscience, your convictions or your constituent’s needs -- you are spearheading a fatal blockage to the blood supply of our nation’s business heart.
You have a responsibility to ask questions and challenge waste and wrong. What you do is, itself, wrong. You are not helping us or our country. You should be removed from office, and I hope this happens in the next cycle.
Your option is to get on board and try to get things done.
