TRAVEL TRAILER CAMPING INTO THE CENTRAL FLORIDA WILDERNESS

Havana, Florida in the Panhandle, over and down into Central Florida and some of the most horrendous storms of the season. After around 300 miles, most of it in terrible rainstorms, flashing, arrived south of Clermont, out on US 50, out East of Orlando

The Departure and hook up and putting the motorcycle up into the toy hauler part of the trailer. A lot more tricky than it looks!

Central Florida starts to darken with the storm and the clouds start to blacken and drop.
setting up camp at Lake Louisa, it is arace with mother nature, she is crashing and getting windy and blacker and stronger

just before it hit, the clouds got ominous, twisting and the temperature drops and the wind shifts back and forth, and you can feel the power

on the other side of this tree line is another lake, so there are really two of them here and lots of hiking and a lot to see. lake louisa is an award winning park in the system and has a lot to offer, as well as capturing old florida fauna and flora. It is a trip back.
Below, first try, backed into campsite like a pro.... up; the storm is on the way and I tried to make myself a star of the event.

IT IS NOW FRIDAY AND WE ARE 5 DAYS INTO CAMPOUT. Beastly hot, 95 degrees and white hot, still and high humidity. Truly the real Florida in Summer = half the sky blue and clear and then the other half ripping with thunder and lightning.

Hi B,
Your storm shots are really powerful - I love them! I can almost smell the ozone of the lightning to come. :)
