DEBBIE DOES NUT JOB

Debbie would have been more interesting, less dangerous and entertaining as a porn star.

Yes, she is Tea Party and a Birther, Limbaugh, Becknoid nutjob; yes, yes.

But Texas State Rep. Debbie Riddle (R-Tomball) is suggesting that, because prayer is not considered appropriate in public schools, we should read the Bible to the kids.

She missed the law which keeps religion out of government operations, and especially where one religious belief is promoted over others.

Like a true fanatic, she fails to acknowledge the value of other belief systems and wants to, instead, 'save' them.

But this is run-of-the mill-Christian-nonsense. Pure Westboro Baptist.

However, Debbie is not up at bat for the first time.

She produces a fascinating stream of idiot nonsense and a poster-girl for RWNJ Christian Fundamentalist myopia.

In 2010, she (Riddle) claimed (without any kind of backup except that she had heard it from unnamable former FBI sources) -- that pregnant women were coming to the United States to have babies “with the nefarious purpose of turning them into little terrorists, who will then come back to the U.S. and do us harm.”

With no facts to back her up “terrorist babies” claim, Riddle became a symbol of completely unfounded right-wing conspiracy theories.

Anderson Cooper called her out on that one and she looked stupid and foolish, which is not at all difficult for she and her ilk.
