SUNDAY, SUNDAY

The Jesus story was well used in the thousands of years prior to the "time" of Jesus in Galilee. Not that it is a bad story, it is just that, as a unique experience, upon which to build ones faith and religion, it fails in two ways.

(1) there is absolutely no actual empirical or historical evidence it (Jesus, miracles, crucifixion) ever happened (the Bible is not proof of anything, any more than my typing a paragraph about some imagined geology that I took a shine to, makes it a reference work)

(2) It was a well known, well worn story by the time the Christians started with it anyway.
