In a painful but exiting series of decisions, I sold my Jetta Sportwagon, sold my BMW R1200RT motorcycle, sold my turtle teardrop, purchased a FORD F 250 Super Duty diesel truck and a 28 foot travel trailer, all as set forth here.


FUEL USE: Less than I was using. The diesel truck is getting 25-27 MPG. It will be stationary much of the time, used only to tow. 

Have my F800GS BMW motorcycle 60 MPG and a Zuma 150 cc two seater scooter 100 MPG for running errands when camped, using it as a second home. 



Sleeps 6. Full dry camping with deep cycle batteries, water on board, gas on board and gas stove, oven and water heater. 


Built light. Tows easy. Will serve as second home for about a third of the year. Is this deductable?
