McConnell (Turtle-Boy), Palin (pro imbecile), Boner (ball-less), Hannity (uneducated disc jockey)

OK, Brain-cells, McConnell (Turtle-Boy), Palin (professional imbecile), Boner (ball-less mouthpiece), Hannity (uneducated disc jockey) and assorted idiots with the right to vote. This is how it works.

I go to the ER and get care. I pay $1,257.00 a month for full health coverage. In the ER, there are 9 other patients. None of them have insurance. I am the only paying patient. This means, in some way, I, and the rest of "us" is about to get stuck with the bill for these 9. Did you graduate from the 4th grade? Excellent.

However, 5 of them could afford some coverage, but they cannot get it because they work for employers who don't offer it, cannot get it individually BC they have pre-existing conditions and 2 lost theirs when they retired and were forced off the insured rolls.

Thus, on the night I am there, the ER loses like a zillion dollars, treating uninsured. I pay.

Then, they collect that bad debt money by raising treatment costs for the insured (me) and driving up premiums for those with insurance (me) and passing along the bad debt to the public through government (me).

So, assorted idiots, we ALREADY pay for the other 9's health care.

Obama and the ACA comes along and fixes a lot of that. The retired can get insurance. The pre-existing condition people can get it. People don't lose insurance when changing jobs and those who can pay something will have to do so. Our 30 million or so uninsured dwindles to a much smaller number and we will eventually pay less each.

Please don't vote, if you cannot do this calculation. Thanks.
