... EXCEPT, Trump-Toadie DeSantis hugged all his Cabinet members, BUT childishly wouldn’t embrace or acknowledge Commissioner NIKKI FRIED.
Nikki Fried is the only Cabinet member who is an independently elected Democrat. She runs the All-Important Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services.
REALLY. In my proud state, FLORIDA—-where we have always used our Governor’s Cabinet to balance the power of the Governor. Our Cabinet officials run their own races…are often from a different party than the governor. This gives us a REAL Cabinet. It creates discussions, ideas & compromise.
To all this, DESANTIS hugs all the members of the Cabinet on his way to deliver his State of the State ... except for Nikki Fried. DeSantis is not only ineffective, immature and dysfunctional but he’s also like a belligerent eight-year-old.
