TRUMP is using this idea to ignite a birther type conspiracy theory. @realDonaldTrump Eastman agrees Harris' was naturally born to lawful US residents, & is a natural born citizen, BUT suggests is not qualified, by law, as VP, b/c her mom & dad weren't citizens at time of her birth. He is essentially suggesting she was some kind of "anchor baby"-- when actually her mother and father were sought after, educated, highly employed professionals. The suggestion is constitutionally preposterous.
