Large numbers of these anti-science/ climate deniers are people who actually think the earth and its resources were created in a magic trick, by a MALE primate (who has a disturbing interest in primate female virgins and war), floating in the sky, 7000 years ago. They think there is some godly oversight to this planet, which is actually a third rate planet, spinning into a dying sun, in a non-descript corner of the known universe... and is only special because of the carbon, oxygen elemental balance that makes carbon based life possible. Not much really special, in the aggregate. Earth is just what it is, and we should probably take care of it, as best we can.
They believe mankind and our ecological system of resources was created with mud pies and magic. They do not understand grade-school basic astrophysics, the periodic table or the universe-wide building blocks all being the same elements (stuff). They do not understand the micro-nuances of temperature vis ecology— they eshew science in favor of idiotic religious nonsense and then call it an “alternative “ theory.
These same people voted for a man to run the US executive branch who I truly would not hire, or retain, to run a convenience store. They watch, listen and believe that he is somehow “telling it like it is”, when, in fact, he is obviously a mentally disturbed, dysfunctional, unethical, corrupt loon.
Many, if not most, of them think, read and write at the 6th grade level... or lower. If you handed them a bag of pins and a globe and gave them 15 places to find, most could not put pins in North Korea, Ukraine, Sweden, Guatemala, Venezuela, or probably even Scotland or Greenland. Many have never been anywhere, don’t even have a passport and think that a trip to Disney Epcot and dinner at Olive Garden are international experiences.
While many of us read two, three or four varied books a month, most of these people have never read a novel at all...Cliff’s Notes 📝 don’t count ... they are a pack of quasi literate know-nothings. They watch reruns of Ironside or Andy Griffith, while we watch current events on Reuters or read the WAPO. Their votes are polluted with stupidity and belligerent ignorance. I am disinterested in anything they think, about anything. My dogs are more valuable members of society than they. Teach on, Baby.
