SEMI-AUTO RIFLES ON A SLING, IN WALMART TOILETRIES?

Carrying a semi-automatic rifle, on a sling, in the Walmart toiletry section? That's some crazy, ridiculous s***

Who would do that? What kind of dumb goon has an AR15 slung over his back while he shops for fish sticks at Safeway, or buys gas for his car? Jesus! What IS all this?

We are a gun oriented country and that's not going to change. Reasonable people have no problem with reasonable firearms use & ownership.

Farmers & ranchers for varmints & protection. Hunters and sportsmen. A gun for personal protection in the home. There isn't anything crazy about any of that.

The purchase, sale, transfer, licensing & transport of dangerous firearms must be elevated to a serious public safety issue, not completely a vague, absolute right, akin to breathing.

Firearms and their ownership must be insured for liability and loss.

While everyone may have the RIGHT to firearms, that right must be exercised subject to some interstate public safety regulation &; tracking--of some kind.

Perhaps like cars & driver licenses. That is probably a good model. Licensed and insured, with some mental/physical ability parameters.

The general distribution of high power/human kill semi-auto weapons must be ratcheted down.

What is the matter with us? Semi auto rifles ONLINE like cell phone accessories?
