MONEY TO LAUNCH AN UNNEEDED DEATH STAR

All day, I have thought of how terribly sad it is that our national treasure is expended on these giant killing machines--- how can mankind come to a place where there are people living on the streets--going hungry, attending substandard schools, doing without the basics of health care-- and yet--instead of addressing those issues, our money is spent -- by the BILLIONS--on huge technological marvels that have, as their purpose, unleashing death and destruction?

 

And we do it to the sound of bands playing, crowds cheering and moving speeches about patriotism and military prowess and strength. It is absolutely insane. It really is. We could probably have rebuilt every railway on the East coast with the money this cost, including bridges. It is insane.
