I am a licensed attorney in 2 states, board-certified, ret’d. I have volunteered on local elections for 40 years. In the USA, basically ALL our elections, throughout the US, are conducted by local, county-elected ‘SUPERVISORS OF ELECTIONS’, employing career-civil service staff & volunteers.
It’s an INDEPENDENT county elected office like Sheriff or Tax Collector. (D) or (R) or (I). They operate independently, county to county. Computers, paper, examiners. They handle every election from school boards to Presidents.
It’s ridiculously impossible for any “side” to single-handedly “corrupt” or even influence the operation of 3500 separate county elections offices, in 53 states / territories. To even suggest such a thing is to show you know very little about it.
