Dear Governor DeSantis:

My family & friends register opposition— (frankly our horror) at the idea of our flag coming to half mast for LIMBAUGH— who was a flabby, loudmouth, instigator. He was a race baiting, gay bashing, anti-science, woman bashing, rumor mongering seditious piece of filth & unapologetic white supremacist

My family is 6th generation Floridians. We either cast, influence or control about 700 votes, directly ....and likely thousands indirectly. Listen up, Sailor.

We don’t want Rush Limbaugh honored for anything. Save the  accolades for someone who deserves them. Limbaugh is human scum; amazingly, he manages to be almost legendary human scum in several areas. 

For decades Rush Limbaugh has been a vicious race baiter, fomenting division and friction between ethnic and racial groups all with his laughing white supremacist delivery. He is sickening. He keeps 15 million uneducated, low-end deplorables in a frenzy. His contribution to the republic is a MASSIVE net-negative 

On top of that he’s incredibly cruel and vicious. There was a time that he spoke about women in the workplace as if they were prostitutes or simpleton sluts hanging around the office waiting for men to grab or approve. 

He consistently broadcasted anti-gay invectives, suggesting an “angel gets its wings “ when a gay dies of AIDS. He even had derisive noisemakers on his radio set, to celebrate gays dying. He is robustly and unapologetically anti-science. He helped bring our democracy almost to its knees during this election cycle with Trump. 

He’s a horrible man who did great damage to the country and to our society. His passing is a merciful improvement. 

Ignore Limbaugh. Nobody who matters cares.
