A loss of opportunity for skilled trades in the area of fossil fuel mining, refining, processing is certainly a valid concern. It is also valid that we are polluting & destroying the earth.
The people who have those skills and jobs, oil fields , fracking, transport, refining, etc., they will be shifting their skills, learning new ones and changing how they make a living. Retraining, relocating, revamping how we live and think is coming. In some instances, here already.

Biden understands that— Right today, wind and solar, renewable energy, is already...in cost per kilowatt hour... comparable or cheaper than fossil fuel ⛽️ in cost. The days of digging, fracking, drilling, pumping, polluting and laying waste to the environment are waning. It just is obsolete. Time to move on.
