PUT THE PAGAN TREES BACK IN CHRISTMAS

Let's put the Christmas trees back in Christmas. Ummm...primarily those who live in the Northern Hemisphere. And, bad news for you "Christians" decorating your trees. Paganism rears it's head. Aren't you a little exhausted, trying to pretend stuff that is just totally and obviously untrue? Come on! Enjoy the holiday for what it is: an evolved, Pagan ritual, worshipping and praying to the Gods to lengthen the days and warm them with the sun.

ok.... Here we go.... In the Northern hemisphere, the shortest day and longest night of the year falls on December 21 or December 22and is called the winter solstice. Many ancient people believed that the sun was a god and that winter came every year because the sun god had become sick and weak. They celebrated the solstice because it meant that at last the sun god would begin to get well. Evergreen boughs reminded them of all the green plants that would grow again when the sun god was strong and summer would return.
