WE CAME; WE SAW; WE LAUGHED; WE DIDN'T GET IT

[ALL OF THIS IS TRUE OF ANY MODERN EMAIL OR SERVICE PROVIDER, USING GOOGLE AS AN EXAMPLE IS MERELY FOR CONVENIENCE AND NOT MEANT AS A NEGATVE]

Many years ago, GOOGLE had a selling point of "never losing an email again" and storing all your "emails forever" with "more storage added every minute" and we knew, when we wrote an email about Pepto Bismol, somehow stomach cures appealed in our ads. We knew all of that. We thought it was great. We knew they were electronically mining them. It was ok. It was fun, new technology. Life is like the weather--somewhat predictable and there is always a storm on the way.
